Slime Care
Slime Care
Slime is a great way to relieve stress and anxiety but that can only be achieved by making sure you treat your new slime with love and care!
First off, let's get the important stuff out of the way; NEVER. EAT. SLIME! Slime is not edible (no matter how amazing it looks/smells) so you should never consume it. If someone in your home does accidentally ingest slime, please seek immediate medical attention.
Now on to the fun part! Playing with your slime!
Slime should always be enjoyed with fully washed and dried hands, forgetting to do this can reduce the life of your slime and cause problems you definitely don't want to experience!
Slime should be stored in a cool, dry area and kept in its original, airtight container. Also remember to wash your hands after playing and to keep them moisturised.
My Slime is too sticky?
This is completely normal for handmade slime and all slime will melt over time. This is easily fixed and your slime will be back as good as new! To do this add the activator provided with your order to the slime one drop/spray at a time and knead until your slime has reached your desired consistency!
My Slime is ripping?
This could be for one of multiple reasons;
the slime could be too cold and needs to warm up a little, this will happen as you play with the slime. This can also happen quite commonly with clear based slimes and thicker putties.
The slime could be overactivated. The slime will melt down over time so you could leave it a few days to help melt down or you could add a drop or 2 of glycerin/lotion (lotion will fog clear slime) to help break down the slime into a consistency to your liking.
My Slime has dried up?
Over time, slime can lose its moisture and dry up if left opened. This can be reduced by keeping slime in their original airtight container and by not separating the slime. Should your slime dry up you can help bring it back to life by adding a little glycerin/lotion (lotion will fog clear slime) to it. Should this not work you can add water to you slime and help to rehydrate it.
My Slime has gone moldy?
Throw it out! Why did you need to look this up?
If it arrived to you moldy and unplayed with, please get in touch with us immediately with a photograph at LKSlimeHelp@gmail.com
My Slime smells weird?
If your slime smells different than the scent it should be, it may have become contaminated. This can be avoided by always playing with your slime with clean, dry hands. Should your slime arrive with a bad smell please contact us at LKSlimeHelp@gmail.com.
